Thank you for your service. As far as the hotel goes it was terrific, service, staff, business centre etc was very good despite my lack of Mandarin I managed to communicate my needs quite well. The hotel staff organized my flights and forward hotel which I had forgotten to do, even got me to the airport at 6am. Food was amazing and I really enjoyed the stay. Location was rather industrial but for me perfect. The average western tourist would find it a bit trying due to the difference in languages and they are probably a bit more demanding than I. Our experience at the Huaneng Hotel in Jinan last February was fine. It is conveniently located for exploring the city and the nearby restaurant area was fun and reasonable. We walked to the pear Spring and Lake area with ease. The hotel is not really at a 4star level but it was clean and service was as expected. No staff spoke English, which could be a problem in the future. As I was traveling with a student, they made no attempt to understand or encourage my admittedly limited mandarin. Hello, Dear TCG staffs, Thank you for your booking service, excellent work and excellent staff. I stayed in the hotel two months ago with my family and it was an ordinary hotel which should be rated as a three star at most. The hotel staff was not very efficient and they kept us wait a long time at the reception. The hotel looks dated and the facilities need renovation. The room was not spacious enough. The bathroom has a poor light and the towels and washcloths seemed old and not clean. The breakfast was poor in variety and the taste was ok.
